These original works are from the the exhibition 'A Few' - the third installment in an ongoing series of natural history illustrations depicting native and resident species of Aotearoa, New Zealand - by Erin Forsyth. They may be viewed in person at the exhibition taking place at the TSB Wallace Arts Centre, Pah Homestead in Auckland October 30 - December 9.
A variety of native flora and fauna are represented in this collection with special attention given to the manu/birds (Avifauna), pekapeka/bats (Chiroptera), pepe or pūrerehua/butterflies (Lepidoptera) and rakau/trees. It is the artist’s intention to continue to grow this series, providing insight to the unique biological (bio) diversity of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Details of this work appear on the poster 'Taonga O Aotearoa', produced in collboration between the artist Erin Forsyth and Predator Free NZ Trust.

All works have been painted in Schmincke Horadam gouache on Arches hot pressed, 300GSM, 100% cotton paper by the artist during 2018, and have not previously been exhibited unless specified. Exact dates of completion can be found in pencil on most works.

The purchase price does not include delivery. Delivery of works is the responsibility of the buyer and to be arranged at the buyers expense once payment for purchase of the work has been processed.

Prices are in New Zealand currency and do not include a GST component as the artist is not registered for GST at this time.
Purchase of the work DOES NOT entitle the purchaser to any rights to reproduction of the work.
All Images and rights relating to them, including copyright and ownership rights in the media in which the Images are stored, remain the sole and exclusive property of the Artist Erin Forsyth. The Artist shall be deemed to have asserted its right under section 96 of the Copyright Act 1994 to be identified as the author of the Artwork. As such the artist may elect to license or create fine art reproductions of this work or generate income from reproduction of images of the original artwork without permission from the purchaser.

The artist may use these contact details on occasion to request to loan the original artwork back from the purchaser for exhibition purposes or to notify the purchaser of any intended publication.
